A few more cards…

Hi All,

I’m back today with a few more cards that I created a while back and after today’s post I will start posting my most recent creations.  My first card was made using Altenew’s Farmer’s Market stamp set on Nina Desert Storm cardstock and colored with prismacolor pencils.  I matted it onto a lime green panel then adhered it to a nina desert storm card base.

On the next two cards I also used an Altenew stamp set, the Perfectly Perfect, and I again did a no line coloring on Nina Desert Storm using all of my gray prismacolor pencils. I stamped the images on a large panel then I die cut the panel using Lawn Fawn’s  stitched hillside border dies and adhered it to a desert storm card base.  I die cut Altenew’s you are loved die and cut it apart to say Love you.  I die cut it three times in white then added a black die cut on top to give it some dimension.  I then colored the words with my spectrum noir clear glitter pen and topped it with glossy accents.  For the card on the right I die cut the rest of the panel using MFT’s stitched stripes dies and adhered them onto black cardstock and trimmed it so only a small strip of black showed.  I then adhered the panels to a desert storm card base and cut two remaining flowers out to adhere on top the black circle die cut and under the kraft circle.  I then stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock using Versamark ink and Ranger white embossing powder.  I cut the sentiment into a fishtail shape and wound some silver metallic thread around the other end.  Then I adhered it using foam tape.

My next two cards feature the Hero Arts September 2018 card kit.  For the card on the left I stamped images from the kit and from the Autumn Bounty, along with the to go cup as a vase from the MMH August kit.  I stamped everything in Versamark ink on to bristol smooth cardstock and colored everything using my zig real brush markers.  The card on the right was stamped with Ink on 3’s fade out ink onto a dark olive-green panel then I colored the images with my prismacolor pencils.  I then masked the images and inked a portion of the background with Salty Ocean distress oxide ink.  I adhered the panel to a light blue panel then to a white card base.

For my next card I consulted my four legged boy, Sherman,  for the color scheme and he chose blues and lime greens. He has a very discerning eye for color.  I cut a patterned paper piece and adhered it to a black panel and trimmed it down then I glued the wood patterned paper piece to a black card base.  I adhered the leafy panel to the wood panel.  I then stamped images from Altenew’s Indoor Garden stamp set and fussy cut them out. I adhered some of the images flat to the card and some on dimensional foam tape.  I then cut the sentiment from the same paper pack as the patterned paper and glued it in place.

For my last card for today I let Bailey   pick the color scheme, Pepper didn’t care, she was to busy policing the golfers in the back yard.  Using masking paper I stamped images from Altenew’s Cotton Comfort stamp set twice onto nina desert storm cardstock and I colored it with my prismacolor pencils.  I used MFT’s wonky stitched rectangle dies to cut out the panel and I adhered it to a navy blue card base.  I stamped the sentiment on to navy cardstock and embossed it with white embossing powder.  I then cut it out by hand and glued it onto the card.

Well that is all for today, I hope you enjoyed my cards and that you will come back again.
